How does a custom decal sign work?
Send us the wording and pick the piece: the gold arch mirror, a backdrop panel or the white display wall. We set the wording at true size on a photo of that piece in four font pairings and email you the proof. Once you choose, we cut the lettering in vinyl and apply it before your rental goes out.
The proof shows exactly how large the names will read from across the room and where each line sits on the surface, so there are no surprises when the mirror arrives. Changes to the wording or the layout are made on the proof, before anything is cut.
What can you put on a welcome sign?
Most welcome signs carry the couple's names, the date and a short greeting, such as "Welcome to our wedding" or "We're so glad you're here". The same lettering works for seating chart headers, bar menus, dessert table signs and the names above a sweetheart table.
Short wording reads best. One or two words per line keeps the lettering large enough to read from a distance, and our house style pairs a script for the names with smaller capitals for the date.
Which pieces can take custom lettering?
The gold arch floor-length mirror, the panels of the three-panel backdrop and the white display wall all take vinyl lettering. Each has a measured face, so the proof shows the lettering at the size it will be cut.
The mirror is the classic welcome sign. The backdrop panels suit names and a date behind a sweetheart table or a photo area, and the display wall carries a seating chart or a message above its shelves.
How much does a custom sign cost?
The piece rents at its listed price, and the custom lettering is quoted with your proof, based on the size and amount of wording.
Because the sign is a rented piece with your lettering added, you get a large, finished sign without paying for a custom-built one, and there is nothing to store after the event.
