• Communications: Email, text, and phone correspondence related to your inquiry or rental.

We also automatically collect certain information when you visit our website:

• Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referral sources, and general browsing patterns collected via Google Analytics.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and general device characteristics.
• IP address: Used for general geographic analytics and security purposes. We do not use IP addresses to personally identify visitors.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To respond to your inquiries and provide rental quotes.
• To process and fulfill your rental orders, including delivery coordination with venues.
• To communicate with you about your booking, including order confirmations, styling guides, delivery scheduling, and post-event follow-up.

• Payment processors: Square processes credit card payments on our behalf. Square's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.

• Venue coordination: We may share your name and event date with your venue solely for the purpose of coordinating delivery and pickup logistics.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Okanagan Wedding Co. or others.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies: Required for website functionality, such as form submissions and session management.
• Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (GA4) cookies help us understand how visitors use our website, including page views, session duration, and referral sources. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

• Analytics data: Aggregated website analytics are retained in accordance with Google Analytics' data retention settings (currently 14 months).

• Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: You can request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
• Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw your consent for marketing communications at any time. Note that withdrawing consent for essential communications may affect our ability to fulfill your rental order.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Complaint: If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the BC Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
