Vendor Spotlight: The BC Wedding Pros We Love Working Beside
An introduction to our Vendor Spotlight series, where we feature the florists, photographers, planners, and venues we trust across British Columbia.

We rent decor, but a wedding is never one vendor's work. The day a couple remembers is built by a florist, a photographer, a planner, a caterer, a band, and a venue all making the same vision land at the same time. Vendor Spotlight is where we introduce the people we love standing next to on a Saturday.
This is a curated series, written by our editorial team, featuring real British Columbia wedding professionals. No pay-to-play, no filler. If we feature someone here, it is because we would put our own client in their hands.
Why does a rental company spotlight other vendors?
Because couples plan a whole team, not a single booking. The faster a couple finds vendors who actually work well together, the better their day looks and the less it costs in stress, scheduling, and last-minute fixes. Pointing couples to people we trust is the most useful thing we can do beyond the rentals themselves.
When our backdrops and centerpieces show up to a venue, they share the room with everyone else's work. The florals have to read against the linens. The photographer has to light the tablescape. The planner has to sequence the load-in so nothing arrives at the wrong time. We see, week after week, which vendors make that choreography easy and which make it hard. Sharing that is worth more to a couple than another listicle of generic tips.
Who will you meet in this series?
Florists, photographers and videographers, planners and coordinators, venues, and the specialty vendors that cultural weddings rely on, all based in or serving British Columbia.
We are building this out across the categories that matter most to a BC wedding:
- Florists and floral designers
- Photographers and videographers
- Planners and day-of coordinators
- Venues across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the Okanagan
- Specialty vendors for Persian, South Asian, and East Asian weddings, where the right pandit, officiant, or cultural rental source is hard to find through a generic directory
How do we decide who to feature?
We feature vendors we have worked alongside or vetted directly, who serve BC couples, who communicate well, and whose work we would stake our own reputation on. Validation comes first, always.
Three things have to be true before a vendor appears here. They serve British Columbia couples. We have either worked an event beside them or done real diligence on their work and references. And they are the kind of professional we would hand a friend's wedding to without a second thought. We do not feature businesses we cannot stand behind, and we keep the series current so nothing here points couples toward a vendor who has closed or changed hands.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this paid advertising?
No. Vendor Spotlight features are editorial. We choose who appears based on the quality of their work and how they collaborate on real events, not on payment.
Do you only feature vendors you have worked with?
Mostly. Every feature is either a vendor we have worked an event beside or one we have vetted directly through their portfolio and references. Validation comes before any feature goes live.
How can I suggest a vendor?
If you loved a vendor at a BC wedding, or you are a vendor yourself, reach out through our contact page. We read every suggestion.
Do you cover vendors outside the Lower Mainland and Okanagan?
We focus on the regions we serve and know well: Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the Okanagan. If a vendor works those markets, they are a fit, wherever they are based.
